Product Description

The PI20 series grating is an integral stainless steel circular grating with an incremental reticle of 20 um grid spacing on its cylindrical surface, and has an optical reference zero position, with various sizes to choose from. The non-contact form eliminates the inherent reverse clearance, torsional error (twist), and other mechanical hysteresis errors of traditional closed gratings. The circular grating has excellent installation accuracy and a conical mounting system, which can reduce the demand for machining parts with high tolerance requirements and eliminate eccentricity.
